Automotive Deal Processing and Billing Specialist in Bensenville, Illinois at Elmhurst Ford

Elmhurst Ford is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Automotive Biller to join our dynamic Commercial Truck Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing vehicle sales invoices, sales tax and license and title forms, ensuring timely billing, and maintaining precise records. Your expertise will support our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Prepare and review automotive sales invoices, ensuring all are correctly documented according to company policies and industry standards.
• Utilize accounting software such as Reynolds & Reynolds Ignite, Excel and/or similar platforms to generate accurate billings and forms.
• Help reconcile factory receivable accounts and filing of deal jackets.
• Collaborate with salespersons and customers to clarify billing details, creating accuracy so that no after deal adjustments have to be made and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Two years minimum Automotive Billing experience in a dealership.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Reynolds or equivalent systems.
• Understanding of financial concepts including accounts receivable/payable, journal entries, account reconciliation, and double entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail imperative.
